Hi there,
thanks for getting back on this.
As for your questions:
Q: 1. Are you experiencing this problems from a mobile network, Wi-Fi, or both?
A: I am not an expert and am not sure about the differences, but I am using it at home, WiFi.
Q: 2. Was Aquamail working on the same device before (and you started experiencing the problems just now), or you just installed Aquamail on this tabled and you are having problems right from the installation?
A: I have been using Aqua Mail for some time already and registered/bought the 'Pro' version. In general it worked fine. Just ocassionally I had this error before, normally just once. After closing/relaunching Aqua Mail the error was gone for quite a while.
Q: 3. Are you experiencing network problems while Aquamail is trying to sync messages automatically, or does it also happen when you do it manually (by pressing on the "wheel" next to the account, or pulling down from the top of the account's message list)?
A: I am using the manual sync. I click on my account name (left hand, folder tree), then I tap on the 'circle arrow', arrow starts circling and after say 15-20 seconds or so I get the error.
Yes, I know about the migration. I have to confess though that I have no idea about the impact/consequences for me as outlook.com user, i.e. am I supposed to do anything. I have both a hotmail.com and outlook.com account. AFAIK they are the same. I can access both accounts with the same password.
That said, as explained, I also have the Gmail-app on the same tablet. There is a specific reason why I don't use it. That is another matter.
However, I created an outlook.com account within Gmail and Gmail synchronized without problems.
I deleted my outlook.com account within Aqua Mail and created a new one, all with default settings. Sync error.

oh, btw, the server settings on tablet : IMAP, on my pc within Outlook 2013: POP3
there is a specific reason why I don't want to use IMAP on my PC: it is not possible to select an existing .pst file when creating a new account and using IMAP.
Outlook/IMAP requires the .pst file to be stored on C:\
Outlook/POP I can select my .pst file that is stored on another partition.
(I know there are complex workarounds and POP is slightly outdated, but as long as things are going fine with POP there is no real reason for a change)
