color scheme, message count,

I am a new user (4 days) so maybe these are addressed and I can't figure it out. If not, these are some enhancement requests.

1.  Could compose on the dark theme with light messages be made light?  I like this theme as it highlights the box but on compose the message box is dark with white letters.  It would be nice if that were reversed.

2. Message counter for unread.   I use gmail filters to put labels on incoming messages. The labels are set to sync but not shoe in smart inbox but the message count is duplicated.  Is it possible to have a setting that says message count based on the all mail folder?

3. Can you archive emails in Aqua mail?

BTW, I can' begin to convey how good this app is. it's not just an android email program.  It's a key tool for managing ones emails. It presents and manages emails in ways that desktop tools can't even do and by making it mobile, it helps me fight the entropy/chaos that email easily devolves into.

One more request for I am sure your "short" list

Is it possible for the Smart InBox to hold ALL starred emails (any emailthat is starred irrespective of date?)

1 - Will look into

2 - What I do for this is set my Gmail server side filters to "Skip incoming (Archive)" so it doesn't go into the Inbox or All mail, but only to the folder that corresponds to the assigned label. Don't know if it's a viable option for you, just thought I'd mention it.

3 - Archive -- maybe in the long-ish term, keeping all starred messages up to date -- ditto.

If I understand, I would then show that folder in the Smart InBox and would see the entry there and only that entry as there would not be an entry in the account inbox? 

Only issue for me with that on some mailboxes is that I have some automation service (TripIt) which scans an e-mail account I have for reservations, etc and updates that app.  I don't know if TripIt would see the reservations if they have been archived.

By default, without the "archive" switch, Gmail's filters add a label, thus making messages show under that label / IMAP folder, as well as staying in Inbox. This is essentially copying a message.

The archive switch makes filters add the new label and remove the Inbox label, this is like moving a message from one folder to another (and which is how message filters work in all other mail services I've seen).

I've been using this setup for a while now, and find it more convenient. YMMV.
