I have AquaMail (and Outlook on my laptop) set to not delete anything from my POP3 mailboxes, and my main Desktop PC Outlook is set to remove everything from the server older than 60 days. That way I know all of my devices, even the ones only used every couple of weeks, will download all emails and keep in sync with each other. It's also nice to have the backup option to pull back fairly recent messages via webmail if I ever need to.
This works fine for all my devices, except just occasionally (maybe every two or three days?) AquaMail will re-download one or two old (usually approx. 2 to 3 weeks) emails from one of my POP3 accounts, and show them as unread messages right at the bottom of the list. I initially thought the unread counter wasn't working, until I switched on the "unread first" mode and saw these old messages again.
Any idea why this may be happening? Are there any logs I can provide when it next occurs that might help?
[It just did it again in the last hour or so, at around 1pm on 1 July - two emails re-downloaded from 10 June, three from 11 June]
