Syncing Errors Today

Getting an orange alert in my notifications area that there is an incoming server login error.

Perhaps something on Apple's end today (as I use an iCloud account), but wanted to see if anyone else was having similar problems.

Having same issue.  Although it cycled through my comcast.net account too.  That resolved itself, but my icloud accounts are returning "incoming server login error: authentication failed"

I don't have a Comcast account (looong way from its service area), but do have a @me.com account, and was able to set it up just now, using automatic setup.

Hoping it was a temporary glitch, if not, the workaround for @me.com / @mac.com discovered before is to go into this account's setup (in AquaMail), and change login name from "user@me.com" to just "user".

Started having this issue on ONE of my 3 gmail accounts. The other 2 sync just fine & I can get to the 1 troublesome account just fine through every other means so it is NOT the password as the error indicates. I am currently using IMAP for all 3 accounts and everything is configured properly on Gmail's end.

Oddly enough, I just upgraded to the paid version last night so that I could have more than 2 accounts and everything worked fine until this morning.  :-\

UPDATE: Like the others, it seems to have been a temporary issue as it is syncing properly now. Odd.

But I LOVE this email client!! Best by far of any client I have used on Android!

It was a small outage on Google's side.

For those who were affected, all mail apps stopped working, not just mine (except Google's own native Gmail app).

It's reported as fixed now (and my account is working again,too).

I can confirm those error messages were from Google's side. Best thing to do during that time is probably keep calm and do the following :

1. Ignore the notifications for a while as i'm sure Google will probably be busy fixing the issue
2. Kill the Aqua mail App for while
3. Try logging onto your Google account manually to make sure nothing has changed eg. Login info or POP3 & IMAP settings.
