tasker profiles not being triggered by mail received

I have set up a profile in tasker, tasker - event - plugin - aqua mail,

configuration:

for which account - myemail at email.com
From - sender at email.com

everything else blank

I thought that was supposed to trigger when a email from sender at email.com arrives at myemail at email.com

It doesn't, so what am I missing ? tasker and aquamail unlocked, newest versions

I also created a profile, with just 'test' in the subject line as a condition, for any account, that does not trigger either

I have a lot of tasker profiles and plugins for all sorts of things, all working fine. Just the aqua mail plugin is causing me problems. Probably just me missing something obvious...

I have done a test action, created a popup action, with %aqmfrom in text. the popup comes up as %aqmfrom, so is the variable empty ? I had sent an email to my account to try to populate the variable

First, please check your Tasker version. I know that 4.4 has been out for a long time, but... ??

Second, Aqua will only trigger this for brand new (i.e. received just now, not before), unread messages.

Third, maybe you could make a debug log (with "raw session data" enabled) and capture the mail check part (you can start with the Tasker event already configured).

Oh, famous last words: works for me, so we're probably missing something :)

I have tasker 4.5u1m, and I have tried sending new mails a few times, so that did not work. I have enabled the debug now, where do I find the log ? I will post it here once I have found it

Hi, I have sent the log file, in the subject line  'log from mikee123' and I have sent is as a .txt attachment

Hi, i tried setting up my wifes phone with aquamail and tasker. While everything is working fine on my phone now, it isnt on my wifes phone (Samsung S5 mini 4.4.2). It occasionally triggers the tasker profile, but not all the time. The profile is when an email received from 2 seperate email addresses, they should trigger an action, no matter what subject. So in the aquamail plugin settings in tasker, i just selected the email i want to trigger the profile. But it only occasionally triggers, nit all the time. I turned debug on in aquamail, and wil email you the log. The profile is exactly as i use it on my phone, with the same versions of tasker and aquamail, so it should work...
