Support for Exchange 2010 and beyond
« on: November 25, 2012, 08:10:45 pm »
While I do realize that this is a huge part of the project, on long term this feature would confer Aqua Mail a HUGE advantage against the majority of other email clients who don't.

Thanks

Yes it would be, and yes, it's not simple.

Using ActiveSync requires a license, and EWS is less appealing to most users who want Exchange.

I'm about to contact MS about a license after the current version goes out (1.1.0.5), if they say "no", it'll have to be EWS.

Hm, that must be the reason not too many email mobile clients offer Exchange support.

Yeah, MS just doesn't want people to connect to their systems... apparently :)

I agree, it would be great if you could add ActiveSync.

Anyway, you have done an excellent job and the app is very usefu, thank you!

Do you might happen to know of any work-around for the Taks to be viewable?

Sorry, I don't.

No Exchange server in my "lab" yet...

+1 for native Exchange support.

I really need the ability to respond to Exchange/Outlook calendar invitations when they arrive into AquaMail.

Any word on this?

Enhanced Email is the only other all-in-one client with POP/IMAP/ActiveSync, and they're seriously behind the ball (last release 15 months ago+).

You CAN charge a fair amount for this feature, and people WILL buy.
