+ Fixed notification sound issue with Xiaomi MIUI - now any built-in notification sound works, previously only "default notification sound" would.

Custom sounds - files - do not work, it has to do with changes that Google is forcing us (and all other app developers) to make - and we did in 1.17 (not all yet, some).

If your phone runs Android 8 or newer - you may have better luck with 1.18-dev version - where notification "appearance" (sound / vibration / etc) settings are now in Phone Settings (again a Google requirement).

Then use a built-in sound please.

Because of changes made by Google and required of app developers - we cannot use *files* (filenames) anymore.

If we try to, Android will crash the app (intentionally. "you're doing something forbidden").

That's really a question for Google and device manufacturers.

Google is forcing all app developers to "optimize" (ahem) their apps for Android 8.0.

And there, on 8.0, notification "appearance" settings are now in Phone Settings - just like on iPhone - and cannot be changed by apps, only by user.

Some phones (e.g. my Xiaomi A1 with stock Android 8.1) have a way to add your custom sound file there, so it becomes just another "built-in" sound.

Some (e.g. my Nexus 5x with stock Android 8.1) do not.

( yes I noticed, same exact Android version, and still there is a difference )
