no unread count for spam folder in sidebar anymore

until two or three months ago, the number of unread messages was shown for the spam folder in the sidebar (the window shown after clicking on the three horizontal stripes in the upper left in the inbox, for example).
since then, there is no more unread count shown but only the number of total messages in the spam folder, which is useless information for me
i couldn't find any setting how to restore the old view with the unread count....isn't it possible anymore?

does not help. unread count is shown in the account list (next ot the total count), but not in the sidebar (only total count is shown there).
but i found out something: if i change the synchronization method of the spam folder from "sync as spam" to "sync folder", the unread count is shown ...
but i am pretty sure i never changed that setting (so the default behaviour must have changed in one of the last updates)
and i don't know what side effects will arise by changing that setting.....
can i leave it that way?

Yes we did change this in 1.16 (if my memory serves), related to app's main window.

If my memory serves we never showed both (unread and total) in navigation drawer. We thought that total would be more important for spam and deleted.

If you'd like this changed - please email support / at / aqua-mail / dot com - our Project Manager will see it.

As a user, I consider "total" more important for spam or deleted than "unread".

Yes, I totally agree with @Paris Geek. Please leave it, as it is currently, which has proven itself.
