message sort order by date time (reverse)

I was so pleased when I saw the option to have the messages sorted chronologically, as nature intended!

Unfortunately, with that option set, you are still placed at the top of the messages, in other words, now at the oldest message, rather than at the bottom of the messages.

Do you mean "date/time reverse" - from oldest (top) to newest (bottom)?

Yes! It seems much more logical to me to have email listed in that way - oldest comes first!! so i was really pleased to see that sort option..... , but when i open the mail folder, I still want the default focus to be on the newest email - i.e. bottom of the message-list rather than top! (i.e. the equvalent of scrolling right down to the bottom of the pane)

I know, I know, it's my fault for having 1000's of emails cluttering up my mailbox :-)  so if its not an easy change, just close this as "user error: user too untidy"!

I'll file a bug to investigate why it's not scrolling to bottom (newest message for you) - it's supposed to work, it used to work, but something must have changed and broke it.
