notifications on vector watch

I have a Vector Watch that's connected to a Galaxy S8 and shows notifications through the app (see com.vectorwatch.android)

For some reason, AquaMail is the only app that doesn't show notifications on the watch. I've tried all sorts of combinations of notification settings, and while they appear on the phone normally, they don't make it to the watch reliably.  The AquaMail app shows in the Vector Watch app as an active notification app, as do all other apps that work. For some very strange reason the notifications for only one of my accounts now seem to show up occasionally, but for the other, they don't, even though no special account settings have been set up.

My current settings are as follows:
- Enable notifications -> set
- Notify about -> new unread messages
- Only when new messages -> not set
- Only when there are changes -> not set
- Reset on notification clear -> set
- Sound -> default ringtone
- Play ringtone only once -> not set
- LED notifications (and everything below it) -> not set
- Vibration -> set
- Only in "vibration" mode -> not set
- Vibration pattern -> default
- High priority notifications -> set
- Protect privacy -> not set
- Action buttons -> none
- Smart watch enhancements -> set
- Deferred sound -> not set
- When the app is active -> set
- Manager per-account -> not set
- Launcher icon counter -> not set

Does AquaMail handle notifications in some special, non-standard way? All other apps I've tried show up on the watch normally, so I'm reasonably sure the problem lies with AquaMail.

Sorry I have no idea what "Vector Watch" is.

Aqua supports the "Android Wear" smart watch standard, which is Google's "official", with devices from a number of manufacturers which all follow this standard.

Please try installing the official Android Wear app, maybe that's help.

However since you already have "smart watch enhancements" in Aqua "enabled" - Aqua's notifications already are "enriched" to include data for this Android Wear standard.

Please ask Vector support if their watch supports Android Wear (the watch doesn't have to be based on that, it just needs to understand Android Wear enhancements in notifications).

PS - one more thing... If Aqua's notifications on the phone itself are OK - then you'll know that the app does post them (for each of your accounts, as appropriate). Mirroring those to the watch is not Aqua's job - it's the job of this Vector app (I hope).

Unfortunately, the company has been bought by fitbit so I don't think they'll release any further updates.

What's strange about the notifications is that they do appear for one account - can you think of any reason why this could be the case?

If they do - perhaps this watch or its app assumes that there is only one notification per app? We just don't have any way to know (and sounds like there isn't anyone to ask anymore).

Yes, they do appear on the phone, but AquaMail is the only app that displays this behaviour, which is why I created this thread. I suppose if you don't have any further suggestions, then there's nothing to do. Thanks for your help.

Sorry I don't - phone notifications (with or without Android Wear specific data in them) is the only thing that the app has direct control over.
