white space in message list

Hello

I really like the new design shown in v1.8 -- I think its a great improvement.

Can you please give more options to manage the white space in the message list?  eg off, light, medium, aggressive.  I would like the messages closer together so that more are shown (without reducing the font size)

There is a checkbox in app settings -> message list -> slim padding. Sorry it's just on or off, no "adjustment steps".
