---

+ Fixed a couple of edge case bugs in IMAP push code.

+ 1.6.2 is now considered the "stable" version (if you use @pyler's update checker).

Getting very close to "official" release.

---

+ Исправил пару ошибок в IMAP-пуш-почте

Официальный выпуск уже очень близко.

Quite a few new/improved features packed into v1.6.2. Should be well received. :)

Re: Quite a few new/improved features

Well, the big one is "undo" and it took for-flipping-ever to implement (not the actual thing, but switching to something called RecyclerView for the message list implementation).

The rest are kind of marginal, even if very important to certain users...

We'll see.

Re: The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.

Perhaps - but I'll go with Aristotle on this one (the whole is greater than the sum of its parts). Continued refinement enhances the overall experience beyond the list of individual changes.

Search observation:

During an extended operation (eg: deleting hundreds of messages) one is not able to execute another search from a folder view until the in-process operation is complete. Search clocks until canceled or the first operation completes. No complaints there; app is behaving as expected.

However, I recently discovered one can initiate a secondary search from the account ("home") panel under the above conditions which effectively permits multi-tasking search operations. Yippie!

I did not try to queue up another set of tasks (eg: a second wave of message deletes); no need to push the envelope. :)

I should also note in-app navigation/reading/composing/etc. was never inhibited with background tasks operating; only the search function was impacted.

Again, no complaints - just sharing a new found capability!

ps: Yep  another edge case no one else cares about (lol). :)

Re: Search clocks until canceled or the first operation completes

Yes, it can take a while to sync all the found messages, even though the app does this in batches.

Besides the case you found, server search also gets canceled if you just back out of the (still populating) search results view.

re: So you're happy

Yep - was going to embed a Pharrell Williams clip but felt that might be a bit nauseating (now that is one happy dude).
