taking screenshots
« on: May 27, 2015, 01:44:37 pm »
Hi,

how do I create screenshots. By hitting the Power Button + Volume Down Key on my android. I always get "Screenshot cannot be created". With other apps this Key-combination works like a charm.

Best regards

The certain apps disables "taking screenshots" when you use them. "Screenshot Ultimate" or any other screenshot-er will not help you.

You need Xposed framework (so root at first) and this module: http://repo.xposed.info/module/fi.veetipaananen.android.disableflagsecure

But we are off topic. This is not right place where we can discuss about this problem. It is NOT related to this app.

If you've enabled Aqua's security / PIN code feature (app settings -> security), then the app will mark its windows as "secure", preventing their content from showing in Android's recent apps list. Makes sense, right?

Unfortunately, this also makes Android block screenshots.

Well, certainly.

What if someone views a message about some secret $100 BN deal -- and then "locks" the app with the PIN code -- you wouldn't want the message to clearly show in the "recent apps" list :)

Besides all the method meationed, I would like to tell that there are some program that can do the work and capture your screen for you. Since your operation on the phone fails, I believe this is a better way. No need to waste your time search for all these ways. Google Android Manager and you'll make it.
