+ "Archive" for IMAP / EWS.

To assign archive folder: account's options and folders -> folders, choose or create one, tap it, choose "Sync as Archive" or "Archive, don't sync" (same scheme as Spam). For Gmail accounts, use "[Gmail]/All Mail".

Can be used in message lists ("three dots" menu), message view (menu), swipe actions (app settings -> "swiping"), buttons in notifications (app settings -> "message notifications").

Not quite happy about how archive isn't an icon in message list "action mode" (when there are messages selected), thinking about what to do...

The archive folder should be detected / assigned in Gmail, Fastmail, Apple (iCloud) accounts, possibly others, during initial account setup.

Присвоить папку для архивации: доп. настройки и папки -- папки -- выбрать или создать папку, нажать, выбрать "Загружать как Архив" или "Архив, не загружать" (та же схема, что для Спама). Для учеток Gmail, выбирайте папку "[Gmail]/Вся Почта".

Работает в списках сообщений (в меню "три точки"), просмотре сообщений (в меню), жесты в списке (настройки -- жесты и перелистывание), кнопки в уведомлениях (настройки -- уведомления о сообщениях).

Не очень доволен тем, что в списке сообщений это пункт меню, а не кнопка, буду думать...

Папка для архивации автоматически настраивается при первичном добавлении учетной записи для Gmail, Fastmail, Apple (iCloud), возможно, других.

Good improvement.

Could it be a solution to change the action of Google's "new" round Floating Action Button from "create new message (pencil)" to "archive selected messages (archive icon)" when one or messages are selected?

Or can the defined action not be changed?

Spanish translation:
"Move to Archive" -> "Mover para Archivar"
"Sync as archive" -> "Sincronizar como Archivado"
"Archive, do not sync" -> "Archivar, no sincronizar"
"Archive or delete (depending on the account)" -> Archivar o eliminar (dependiendo la cuenta)

OK, I'm Oliver and new here 

I just tested the new archive funnction and I think I found a bug: Under folder options when I select "Archive, do not sync" it does not stick, it is always reset to "Sync as archive" for me.
Can anyone confirm?

I think I have found something interesting:

It happens only in the Smart Folder if you move a message to the archive-folder, even though no archive folder has been set up for this particular account.
Then this message get lost, at least I doesn't found it until now...
