Problem with Exchange Server

Hi Kostya,

Have a problem since last 2 days when I cannot connect to my exhange server at all. It was working fine all these months and since the weeked doesnt want to connect. I get the message :

Exchange Mail Server (EWS) : Inavlid Response. HTTP/1.1403 Forbidden(The server denied the specified Uniforn Resource Locator (URL).

My server is : ipmm.next.co.uk

I spoke to my IT department and they do not support android phones and is my personal phone hence unhelpful.

I have rebooted my phone as well. But doesnt want to know.

Please could you help.

Well, the "403 forbidden" really speaks for itself -- this is the response from the server.

Aqua does not make up random URLs and server names because it wants to :) so it had to have been a server side change.

The standard URL for EWS is https://<server>/EWS/Exchange.asmx

This one doesn't even open in my desktop browser:

https://ipmm.next.co.uk/EWS/Exchange.asmx

In Chrome, I get a "This webpage is not available".

It's so nice for your IT guys to say they "don't support Android phones".

Thanks Kostya....So does that means I am stuffed ? :(

Not sure if this helps but when we use outlook web access we are told to use :

https://ipnm.next.co.uk [nofollow]

That works fine with OWM app that I have on my android. But ofcourse thats not waht I want. Ihave tried this server as well but doesnt work.

Um, what can I say?

Your work server worked fine with EWS, now it doesn't, without any changes in Aqua.

EWS replaced OWA in Exchange 2007. Then there is ActiveSync. Aqua uses EWS.
