Default to Recipient's Default Email Address

Hello,

For some reason, Tapatalk wouldn't let me post this message in the Feature Request forum...

My request... Can you please make it so when I start typing a recipients name in the To: field, AquaMail will automatically highlight the "Default" email address? When using a tablet or device with physical keyboard, the natural way to select the address is to type the person's name and then hit the Tab key to select the first highlighted address. Unfortunately, AquaMail always highlights the first email address that shows in alphabetical order, regardless of having a default email address selected in the Contact entry.

What would be preferable is for the email address that is set as "Default" to be the first one shown on the list, or the one that gets highlighted first. Does that make sense?

Well, what exactly do you mean by "Default"?

The first one if you open that contact's details in the built-in Contacts app?

Or the one that's not "special", as in, "not marked as home email, not marked as work email, not marked as mobile email..."?

How is this handled in e.g. Gmail?

Last I checked, it wasn't very intuitive there either, maybe things changed?
