Takes long time for the emails to load up.

Hi,

The app is absolutely brilliant. I have tried all other apps and works perfectly with my Office Exchange Server.

I use the Asus FonePad running Android 4.1.2.

I have 4 email accounts configured out of which one is my Exchange Server.

My only problem is it takes about 2 minutes for the emails to load. So when I go from one account to another its a long wait. And if I read an email and want to go to the next one , again it takes ages.

Please advise if there are any settings that can help me to improve speed. I have tried every possible configurations but still slow

Hello,

Do you mean the app taking a long time to sync mail with the server, or that the app's UI in general feels sluggish?

If the former, please check the "messages to sync" setting. This is in app settings under Mail, receiving. The default is 25, a much larger number (e.g. 250 and above) can be slower.

If the latter, please try Menu -> Compact the database in the app's main window. On some devices, the app's database gets slower over time and needs to be "optimized" to make it fast again.

The overall app seems sluggish and so does loading up the emails. I will try compacting the database. Did you mean the messages per page setting in the Mail Receiving Menu?
I will reduce the same as I have actually set it up at 1000.

By compacting the database I meant -- Menu -> Compact the database in the main menu.

Using 1000 messages per page may be a bit much for some device's storage performance (funny how we never see this in marketing specs, only X cores at Y zigahertz).

Please reduce the "messages per page" setting first, then run Menu -> Compact the database.

Just one issue. When I use the two panel view and smartbox activated, the  icon for select all doesnt work.

@nilesh -- about "select all" in the smart folder? Just tried it, worked fine for me...

Are you using a phone or a tablet? Two panel mode split left/right or top/bottom? No idea what I'm supposed to be asking, since it's working fine for me, but something's got to be different.
