Is there a file containing last POP3 server activities?
« on: February 14, 2014, 04:16:48 pm »
I have accidentally deleted an email without being able to even see the sender. My option is "delete from server immediately". I would need to figure out who was the sender of the deleted email.
Question: Is there a file containing info on last POP3 server activities? I am running on Android, and my phone is rooted.

Not really. There is a debug log capability, but it has to be turned on in advance, and does not log message data when doing "message ops".

It might be worthwhile to get another mail account to serve as backup: setting up mail forwarding or mail collection in web mail...
