Hyperlinks in messages & signature

Hi all,

If I type a URL in a message, it isn't automatically hyperlinked, and I can't see an option for adding a hyperlink.  Same goes for my signature, which includes my website address.

Have I missed something, or is that just the way it is?

Hyperlinks in HTML content will be hotlinked later, when the app actually sends your messages.

Hyperlinks in plain text are sent as is, since it's plain text, and in this case the task of finding and highlighting them falls on the mail app on the receiving side. AquaMail does this with plain text messages it receives.

Thanks for your reply. I'm sending emails using rich text, but the URLs are not linked when they're received on the other side. Is there some other setting I need to select?

OK, I think I've figured it out.

I was using rich text, and URLs weren't automatically linked. But when I switched to plain text, they were.

Is that how it's supposed to work? Ideally, I'd like rich text and hyperlinked URLs, but if I can't have both, then I guess I'll have to stick with plain text.

Rich text hyperlinks are marked up (using HTML <a> tags) when they're sent, in the actual message data that the app sends.

I've never received a test message from you either.
