That's a message from the destination mailserver. Nothing to do with the mail client at all.

Try an other encryption and authentication for the SMTP server in AquaMail.

Do you have alternative email service? Most people have. Your ISP possibly gives you an email address in the form 'fred9986@yourisp.de', but if you use gmail you have another.
Do you get the same failure both ways?
Also, can you send an email successfully to a different addressee?
Also 'grey listing' is a process that should not be seen by the user normally. This is my understanding:
An email with a particular To and From address and apparently from a particular IP address is routinely rejected first time it arrives on its journey between two servers. It is also routinely rejected if it arrives again within a certain very short time. This interaction should not be between you, the user, and your mail server, it is between servers passing on the message. The mail server is supposed to try again after a delay. Its intention is to stop automated spam.
Grey listing is not blacklisting. It results in a temporary nonavailability of seconds or milliseconds. If someone has hijacked a server to send automated spam, the block and delay process throttles back the rate at which it can send the spam.
It almost looks as though your ISP is applying this process to your outgoing mails, when it should only happen between servers. I doubt if AM or any other client is set up to automatically resend, so what should be a temporary error becomes permanent.
If it gives an error number, this would be useful to quote to your ISP.
You are not failing to connect to your isp's server, as it is saying 'recipient address rejected', and that surely must come from your ISP server.
Talk to your ISP.

Forget what I wrote below, but I cannot remove it. This error may happen if for example your email service is for a fixed ADSL or cable line, but you are trying to connect to their servers by another route, even if you use the correct login credentials. Although grey listing is mentioned, it doesn't look like grey listing.
If you are getting this while connecting directly using exactly the service you are paying for, ask your ISP.

Forget stuff below.......

Hello,

Sorry I was sick all of last week.

The message comes from the outgoing mail server, when AquaMail talks to it, trying to hand off your message.

AquaMail only reports it in the UI, to let you know that something went wrong. And what went wrong is: the outgoing mail server is not accepting the message.

Please contact your mail provider's support and include the error code / message.

"Still"?

Is this with multiple accounts? Do they have anything in common, maybe your own email or name is somewhat unusual?

Other than that, let me reiterate - that message comes from the server.
