Can't setup for Yahoo Mail; giving Account Check Error

I'm trying to configure for Yahoo Mail (IMAP). The settings are imap.mail.yahoo.com/SSL (strict check)/port 993; smtp.mail.yahoo.com/SSL (strict check)/port 465; authorization : choose automatically.

Tried several times and changed the incoming server SSL choice (accept any - still port 993) but that didn't work.

Ideas?

So evidently my connection to Yahoo was the problem. Once I got into a better location the account was able to be setup .

Yahoo's mail servers are geobalanced, and some are "more balanced than others"

A project idea for their new CEO: make the engineering department get rid of errors "OCF12" and "999" on their IMAP servers. The Web has discussions about these going back to 2007...
