Incoming mail notifications not working on HTC Sensation

Both tone and vibrate for incoming mail notification are not working on my HTC Sensation.

Do notifications post at all?

By default, there is no sound or vibration, did you enable them in the app's settings?

Please check silent modes in the app's settings as well (night mode / weekend mode), as well as the device's current sound profile (silent / vibrate only).
