iCal time wrong: time zone issues

Just want to mention that there are some bug reports about the app showing incorrect iCal event start / end time values.

The iCal data format is quite rich, and was only able to perform limited testing (Outlook, Google Calendar).

If you run into this, please forward the .ics attachment to kmansoft / at sign / gmail / dot com so I can look at it.

I'm also already looking at some examples and fixing my code on a case by case basis.

Dear Kostya,

I have an issue with iCS, when i try to open in app it says there is no organizer cant reply and all the options (Decline/Maybe/Accept) are disabled. However the same iCS invite works perfectly fine on my outlook 2007 - PC edition.

Could you please let me know if this is a known issue or you need further information.

I take it it means "no calendar".

Do you actually have accounts with calendar sync enabled in the device's system accounts?

The Outlook comparison doesn't apply, I take it it runs on a different device (and not Android at all).

That being said, I'm going to separate sending a response and saving the event into the system calendar. You'll be able to choose one or the other or both.

Yes, i have atleast 3 accounts (google, Samsung Account and Standard S-Calendar) on my note 2.  Before the last update, i was able to see the event but timestamp was 00:00 hrs. Now not able to open ics iteself

I also have a problem with the ICS support: all invitations I have received are off by one hour! Could it be a problem with DST (I live in Quebec, Canada)?

I've some time zone related issues about a month ago, but they've not been released yet.

Feel free to try a recent development build from this forum (please see the Development Builds section). It helped other who've ran into this issue.
