Some cheap entertainment on a Sunday afternoon (for me, I mean).

Smart folder, "regular" folders.

Works sort of like in Gmail, except is overlaid over the top of the message list itself, not the action bar / window title (that looks to me like "too much animation").

Everything works great Kostyia but Id like to have an option to select Sent or Drafts or whatever folder I want in both Smart Folder and Widget, would it be possible?

This version has support for Sent in Smart Folder, it's in per-account Options and Folders -> Composing and sending.

As for drafts, I'm not sure how that would work, given that drafts are opened in edit mode... So let's say you're navigating the smart folder (prev / next, rinse, repeat), and there is a draft along the way?

Yes, more colors (or a color picker) would be nice. Like in the LED notification configuration.
Conversation mode is not an available feature AFAIK.

I would like to see drafts opened in message view mode with an option to edit the draft when accessing the message from the smart folder message list.  Naturally some wouldn't like this behavior, they may want to open in edit mode, so it could be another user-configurable setting.

A draft is after all just another unread message.
