saved draft edits lost when sending

I started a message, saved a draft,  left the app to copy/paste, and returned to the draft.

I continued editing.  All looked normal but when I sent and then viewed the sent item, all changes since the saved draft were apparently discarded.

Hmm, can't reproduce this... on a Galaxy Nexus, 4.2.2

Can you, or was it a one-time glitch? What is your device / Android version?

I have the same problem in a galaxy note 2, I have supposed to replied to some customer and then I receive emails from them asking me why I didn't answered, then I realize that app didn't save my draft and also didn't sent my email.

I have the same problem I start composing new mail then save it as draft then open it to continue adding stuffs then send the email, results: no email sent and last things added to draft wasn't saved.

Any fix for thi a please is getting anoying use this app just to read email's.

I'd really like to know more about this.

Does this only seem to happen if you temporarily left the app while composing your message?

It happens when you left the app to consult or do something in other app, but also has happened when I save draft to look info on sent or inbox folders within the same app.

I think the issue is save draft then open it and continue editing something then send the email, it wont sent the email and draft keep in draft folder and is not  moved to sent folder.

Have you found out a solution for this problem, how I get an updated version of this app?

Are the updates automatically installed?

So far there have not been updates in Play...

I was not able to reproduce the issue on two devices, and I really tried... Leaving the app, even killing the app's process in memory.

Are there orientation changes involved by any chance? I mean between landscape and portrait?

This clearly is a serious issue, and I would like to fix it, if I can just see it with my own eyes (and debug).

Orientation is not involved at all, for me is simple to reproduce just create a new email set subjet and To email address and then write some words then save it as a draft, then switch to home or another app then get back to the draft and continue adding some words then send it, new words you just added won't be saved and the email wont leave draft folder ans email wont be sent at all.

When you open the draft you will see that just the first words you wrote were saved.

I still could not reproduce this (including a Galaxy Note 2 with 4.1.2), and not for the lack of trying...

Made some changes anyway, let's see if this version fixes it:

If not, could you check one thing?

After you come back to editing the previously saved draft (by switching back into AquaMail), and start typing more text, does the save icon in the icon bar change from disabled to active?

This should happen after the very first character you type.
