Aquamail triggers my garmin every five minutes. Is there a way to prevent this?

Given that I have no idea what the heck a Garmin Vivofit is.... :)

I assume it's some kind of smart watch, that also mirrors all notifications from the "host" device.

If it's triggered by AquaMail "checking mail" or "push mail" notifications:

- Ask Garmin developers to exclude so called "ongoing" notifications from their mirroring. It's documented, it's official, I'm sure they can do it.

OR

- AquaMail settings -> look and feel -> status bar icon -> turn off

If you have old unread messages, and you get repeat notifications about them in the phone's status bar (and so on the smart watch too):

- AquaMail settings -> message notifications -> "notify about" -> change from "All unread messages" to "New unread messages".

I guess you mean the new Garmin Vivosmart not the Vivofit ... since only this device should be able to show notifications from a connected device, e.g. a smartphone.

Smart Notifications
Stay active and connected with vívosmart wearable technology. Each time you receive a text, email or call on your compatible Bluetooth® device, vívosmart gently vibrates and automatically displays the information. Simply touch and swipe the screen to read more.

The best way to prevent triggers on your watch is to stop the incoming notification from that app if your are using android device then go to notification center settings on your mobile device to deselect the items to show on the device. Hope this might help you. If it doesn't working then check guideusermanual.com/product-name-vivofit-manual&po=503479&lang=English for help.
