^^^ Fixed crash when upgrading from 1.5.0 to 1.5.1 on pre-4.0 devices.
^^^ Исправил вылет при обновлении с 1.5.0 на 1.5.1 на устройствах с Андроидом ниже 4.0.

^^^ Fixed crash when viewing SSL certificates (account setup)
^^^ Исправил вылет при просмотре SSL сертификатов (основные настройки учетной записи)

---

- In Google Play, not "beta" anymore. Staged (gradual) rollout, currently visible from 10% of devices (randomly picked by Google), will eventually reach 100%.

---

- В Google Play, уже не "бета". Постепенное (поэтапное) выкатывание, сейчас новая версия видна с 10% устройств (случайная выборка), но в итоге будет 100% для всех.

I just got updated via Google this morning, very nice clean new look and feel! I've not been on the forums for a while, so I hadn't seen the latest stuff, nice work!

One quick issue: the new 'drag-to-select-multiple-messages' feature doesn't seem to work as I'd expect: if I try to select (say) the first four messages on the screen, when I release my finger on the fourth message it selects everything in the Smart Folder rather just the four messages I was trying to get.

(Oh, and for the record, I've disabled the little round floaty new-message icon - it may be Google's fancy new toy, but for me it's no substitute for an on-screen refresh button amongst other things)

Great work anyway, excellent app.

"pull to select" does exactly the same thing as Menu -> Select all (or the select all icon).

If you only need to select one or three messages, it just might be easier to tap them individually. That's still there.

Cheers, dragging a specific unmarked segment of the screen (without catching something else by mistake) seemed a bit of a faff compared to just tapping a simple 'select all' button, so I assumed it was meant to be a 'drag over to select multiple items' feature (rather like selecting multiple files in Windows) which would have been quite nice. No worries if it's behaving as expected though, as long as I can turn it off.

I do wish Google would stop moving their goalposts and then demand that everyone else blindly follows their lead. Why don't they just go the whole hog and call themselves Apple? :) Can they really insist that you force users into having floating icons obscuring content? I wish I could turn the floating icons on Google Maps off too, they are very annoying. That's one of the real plusses of apps like AquaMail over any of Google's offerings, it is so very configurable.

Yes, I did consider "select only those messages you actually dragged over" -- but my primary motivation was to provide a replacement for the "select all" icon -- if it's not possible to show it as an icon (when FAB is enabled, or Android 5.0 where there is no icon bar along the bottom).

In Aqua, the FAB floats (cf. Gmail where it doesn't) and you can turn it off. On Android 5.0 you'll also have to use one of the old themes -- not "material design" -- I plan to remove this "special case", but not in the near future (not trivial at all).

Now, from my perspective, it's a "darned if you do and darned if you don't" -- there users who demand Material Design and obsess about the tiniest detail of layouts and animations -- and those who can't stand MD and would rather have "tried and true" UI patterns.

And that's why I also kept the old themes: light and two dark (with light and dark messages).

It's crazy really, I use icon bars at the bottom of the screen all the time, because on larger screens that's the easiest way to do things one-handed with your thumb. Same for the capacitive physical menu button rather than that daft three-line menu icon that Google invented.

I'm not very impressed by Material Design thus far to be honest, it seems to consist mainly of all the design influences that I hate about the 'flat' UI design in Windows 8 - give me the shading and glass effects of Windows 7 any day. But that's a conversation for another forum!

I do use white background with dark text though, as that's how paper and ink has worked for 2000 years and I see no immediate need to change. :)

Please continue with your excellent work in allowing users the choice of how they wish to work if you can, it is very much appreciated.
