@mikeone thank you for bringing the different drafting methods to my attention.
IMHO this illustrates my point a bit better:
1. BACKing out of a draft gives clear options
(everyone's in agreement here).
2. Asserting that the "..., Delete" option discards a draft email is valid in the case of a new, first draft email.
3. Editing an existing draft (by going to Accounts, Drafts), then using "..., Delete" will NOT discard the recent changes however. It deletes the entire draft email. To discard the changes in this case, you must use the BACK out option.
I feel 2 and 3 are somewhat in conflict.
EDIT: Perhaps I should say, 2 and 3 are different and each has their place. Maybe "discard changes" can be added to the ... menu to provide users both options - this also gives context.
