I currently have all of my contacts in outlook on the computer/corporate server. I downloaded the free app and the E-mail works great and I can pull up E-mail addresses from my contacts but I can not pull up the contacts, see notes in the body... Do this work on the paid version?

If I go into my contacts on android, add account I do not see aqua mail, I do see it under the calendar so it is connecting, anyone know how to get contacts to see it?

Hi there,

my contacts and calendar started to sync after I disabled and reenabled the check box in de AM settings.
Then the app asked for permission to the contacts/calendar.

Maybe the permission is missing on your phone, too...

Yes Android requires the app to have a permission for Contacts / Calendar.

Contact *sync* (with the phone's Contacts app) has been supported since version 1.10. Please check what version you've got.

Some Contacts apps have settings to choose which "accounts" to show contacts from.

As a way to trouble shoot:

- Please long press on the account in Aqua Mail -> options and folders -> Exchange -> enable Sync Contacts

- Give it a bit of time (30 seconds - a minute), check the Contacts app

- If nothing, try going to Aqua Mail's "message compose" screen, select the Exchange account (top), and tap the icon to the left of the TO recipient entry field. You should see the app's own Contacts window with your contacts from the server.

But regardless of the app's own Contacts window, you should be seeing your server contacts synced with the phone's Contacts app. You can contact support / at / aqua-mail / dot com if it still isn't happening. We'll most likely need a debug log.

Apparently it was an old version, I updated the app and now the contacts in the main folder are visible, but the sub folders are not syncing. I tried to add other contact folders but I do not see a way to do it, any suggestions?

I saw this thread and categories are an option, but would like to keep in separate folders if possible.

You might be get lucky with that wish: From that thread, it sounded like Kostya might implement the possibility to sync other folders soon. He sounded genuinely interested in that. (But I cannot speak for him.)

I wouldn't bet on "really" soon (I know you did not write "really") just to be clear. Can't really say, there is lots of other work too, but yes I would like to fix this even if this is an "edge" case.
