Show IMAP-folders in account list without using "show other folders"

Hi, I'm setting up AquaMail Pro on a new phone. Everything works except for one IMAP-account with 4 general folders (inbox, sent, drafts, trash) which are activated and working in the webmail-portal.

After adding the account, only the inbox/trash folder show up in the account list. In the "folder setup" for the account all 4 folders are listed but i can't assign the sent/drafts server folders to sync (not shown as an option). However, if I activate "Show other folders" in the account settings the option "other folders" appears in the account list and includes sent and drafts folders.

How can I assign/display the sent/drafts folders without using the "Show other folder" bypass? Thank you.

Are you sure it's an IMAP account?

Can you check by long pressing the account -> account setup -> Manual -> see top of next screen (incoming server details).

Also please check the IMAP prefix on the same screen -- try disabling "automatic" if set.

And as always, I could investigate if there is a debug log (with raw session data) for me to work with.

Um, one more thing:

Where do you tap to see these options? The right place is the folder name itself (in the account's options and folders -> folders), *not* the settings / gear icon on the right.

And if you're not seeing the expected popup menu with "Sync as incoming / Sync with Drafts / etc" (you wrote "not shown as an option"), what do you see instead?

yes, it's an IMAP-Account. Disabling automatic IMAP prefix didn't help. I see the expected popup menu but there es no option to choose "Sync with Drafts"/"Sync with Sent" although these are clearly IMAP-folders. I can see these folders using Account setting > Show "Other Folders" > Click "Other Folders" in account list > [Sent] or [Draft].

I will look up how to make a log.

Posting some screenshots.

The first -- with all options, including Sent / Drafts / Deleted -- is shown for all folders except the main inbox.

The second -- with just "sync as incoming" / "do not sync" -- is shown for the main inbox.

If you get the "short" version for all server folders (including sent, etc.), then I kind of have an idea on where things could go wrong, but --

-- still would need a debug log to investigate.

The log should be recorded with "raw session data" enabled so I can see actual data from the server and I'd need the log to capture your bringing up options and folders -> folders, letting it completely refresh.

Some Pics: With the option "Show other folders" I can open "Sent"/"Drafts" (where my mails are) and [Gesendet]/[Entwürfe] (which are not synced/empty). I'll send you a log.

Problem solved, feeling kind of dumb now
Just need to add a working SMTP (which I configured on my old phone)!
