File management
« on: April 05, 2013, 07:52:23 pm »
Hello,

I'm sorry if my english is bad, I'm French, and I use an online translator.

So I want to know how to manage files from one account.
For example, I create a folder via Internet Bank site hotmail.
I would like to find this file in the application, but I do not know how.

I just folders "box opening hours", "Save", "Delete" and "Draft".

I look in the options, but I do not find it.

Thanking you in advance

Cordially

You mention hotmail --

-- my app accesses Hotmail using POP3, which does not provide access to folders by its nature. Sorry.

Last August, MS promised to fix this (but there is nothing yet, AFAIK).

Hello,

Thank you for your reply. It is true that this is an option that would not hurt.

So that we accede to the file, it is imap or smtp?

Good day

SMTP is used for sending email, so it does not matter.

For getting incoming messages from Hotmail, it's POP3 right now.

I keep hoping for IMAP.

In reality MS is abusing its market share when it comes to Hotmail (and other apps they own) They have deliberately crippled it in Android to try to encourage you over Windows Mobile, and now Windows 8 devices  Disgraceful I think.  The answer it boycott  them wherever possible.  I would do that for my laptop PC if it was not for the fact that I think Apple are even worse when it comes to those tricks!  So instead I use my Android tablet while I am away rather than the laptop.
