PNG Image for signature not showing up on desktop mail client

Hello everyone.

First of all, thank you for making such a great email client for my phone. It´s great and offers so much more than the stock mail app, specially when using GoDaddy!

My question is that I would like to insert an image as a signature in PNG format. I am able to do this without a problem, however, when the email is sent and opened on my Mail for Mac application, the image doesn´t show up.

Somewhere the original file name of the image is changed from "mail.png" to "0x41cda4e8.0x461a342b.0x6d6bdada7383992b0cf588af.png"

The filename contains too many dots and the mail client doesn´t recognise it as an image file.

Any suggestions?...

A mail client is supposed to look at an image's MIME type, not just the extension... Besides, the ".png" suffix is clearly there.

Can you send me a test message to kmansoft / gmail, so I can see what's actually there?

Hi Kostya.

I´ve sent you a test message.

The .png extension is clearly there (I can open the attachment and the image is there), but I´m guessing the mail client for Mac is looking at what comes after the first dot for an extension and what he sees is not png, hence just showing se image in attachment.

No issues anymore when sending embedded images from Aqua to Apple.
