How much does backup actually back up?

Switching from Galaxy Note II to the new Note III

Will using the backup feature of Aqua Mail backup EVERYTHING?

I have so many customized settings I am hoping it will all be quickly restored when re-installing the mail app on my new phone.

I take it the procedure for restoring for a backup upon new install is as follows?....

1. Install Aqua Mail app and unlocker on new phone
2. Before entering any account information go into settings and restore from backup?

From what I remember, it will backup the settings (accounts, folders etc) for your emails.

It may or may not backup some of the tweaks.

Before now I've used Backup and Restore when setting up my tablet after I got things working on my phone.

I don't think it backs up content - just configuration.

Correct, it does not back up messages, which, to me, these days live "in the cloud".

It does back up account setup settings (servers, auth, etc.), per-account folder configuration, and most app settings (except things like most recently used account for composing / sending, etc.).

Can confirm that. Already moved AQ twice to another mobile. Restore worked perfectly and nothing lost (with imap)
