at the office I have installed a feature that from every mail sent from any account a BC is sent to a central archive for outgoing mails. Is there a way to do this also in Aqua Mail. If I'm right, I cannot edit the address in edit/send, BCC
tnx
Goetz

Yes. Long press an account in AquaMail -> options and folders -> composing and sending -> scroll down to "BCC to self".

Thank you. I had seen this option, But that is not what I want/need! I have 6 accounts, if I send copies from these accounts to myself, then I will have them spread to all 6 accounts... I would like to have copies from all outgoing mail to go to 1 specific account so that I have a central archive of all outgoing mail.
sincerely,

There is no global override for this setting, sorry.

It just seemed to make sense (to me) to make it account-specific.

Kostya,
thank you. Of course a global override per se is no good. It would be as bad as is the global setting "to myself"... Because this kind of settings are mostly answering individual needs. Apart of that, is that global setting "to myself" not also causing problems: so you have in the incoming folder not only the mail you receive but also the one you have send...
Because of this and because of my individual needs I would appreciate it very much if you would consider for one of the next updates to give free choice for the BCC address.
tnx, Goetz

"free choice", as in, being able to enter whatever you want?

Sure: when composing a message, tap the "CC/BCC" icon or use the Menu ("Show CC/BCC").. The icon looks like two human heads (white outlines). Then the app will show CC and BCC, and you'll able to enter anything you wish there.

Did I answer your question?

unfortunately not...
what I would like to have is "free choice" in the settings - in the Menu "Verfassen und Senden" (in English "write and Send"?). Instead of  a choice limited to BCC to myself, to any address.
Now, after going back to that setting again, looking at it carefully, I saw that line below and realized that I could try to write an address on that line. I didd it, wrote a test mail - and it was a full success! Now I have that central archive account to which a carbon copy of every mail send from one of my six accounts will go.
That Aqua Mail is good, I knew before - no I realize, it is even better than only good ;)

May be it would be good to make this choice a bit more evident
