Ok. I've been quite unwell for the last two weeks, and only had the energy to work on little bug fixes here and there.
Still, here is what I have now.

+ Setting under Smart Folder to show sent messages with your own name / address / image, not the recipient's.
+ Japanese translation (thanks, Takehito Fujii @takef0845).
+ Enabled IMAP ESEARCH (for unread messages) for Fastmail and Dovecot, previously only for Gmail; faster, lower traffic.
+ Workaround for connection failures caused by Android IPv6 weirdness (used by Verizon, some home WiFi, others...).
More on the last item:
Android prefers using an IPv6 address if it has one for a particular server name (e.g. "imap.gmail.com"), even if the device does not have IPv6 connectivity at the time. This fails in system code, with no attempt to retry using IPv4.
This comes up quite often if the device is on an IPv6 network at some point (where it gets IPv6 "AAAA" DNS entries) and then connects to an IPv4 only network. A real world scenario: Verizon's mobile network (IPv6) then a home Internet provider over WiFi (IPv4).
I plan on merging and posting the juicy stuff (like message list color customization, navigation drawer) after I'm done with one more thing: an option to receive notifications about truly "new" messages, not all unread messages like now.
