Calendar attachments
« on: January 20, 2016, 05:17:54 pm »
New to Android, apologies if this is a newbie question.

I am syncing to an MS Exchange account.

How can I see any attachments for Calendar events?
I don't see them in the Calendar app.

Is there some setting I need to enable in AquaMail?

Attachments?

As in, a meeting invite with a Word file attached?

You should see them in the email messages which "carried" the invites, in AquaMail not in Calendar app(s).

OK, thanks.

In Outlook, I can see the attachments in the appointment, so I was hoping for
the same in Android.

When I accept an invitation, the email is moved to the Deleted folder, so it's not
readily available for reference later. I'll have to remember to download the
attachment before accepting.

Android Calendar has no concept of "attachments on a calendar item".

Re: When I accept an invitation, the email is moved to the Deleted folder

Yes, this is standard Exchange logic when accepting from the email message. It's exactly the same in Outlook and Office 365 web mail.

To avoid this, you can click "View in Calendar" and accept the invite from there -- the email message will remain in your inbox. This too is same as in Outlook and Office 365 web mail.
