Bottom-posting

The default in replies seems to be top-posting, which adds two newlines before the quoted text. Is there any way to defeat this, and use bottom-posting by default? I don;t see it in the settings anywhere.

App settings -> composing and sending -> "reply at the bottom". Applied when you hit the "pencil" icon to edit new and old content together.

It is a convention in office environments, but in many technical environments, interleaved- and bottom-posting is the norm, I think. But it usually requires editing, like I didn't do here :-)

It looks like somebody or something here is an huge time warp, so that responses show as if they were almost 8 months apart.
