Not Connecting to Zimbra via EWS or IMAP

Hi There,

I'm trying to connect Aquamail 1.6.2.9 against Zimbra 8.6.0_GA_1194 (build 20160120153603)
On a Samsung Tablet Android v5 or v6 [makes no difference]

I've tried all options  IMAP or EWS it keeps telling me:

Failed to connect [Timeout] IMAP and Failed to connect [Timeout] SMTP
all ports and protocols are correctly enetered.

Strange thing is, if I use de default mail program and use Exchange Active sync, type in all parameters and
everything works fine.

What's going wrong, please advice

I know there are other people using Zimbra.

Adding as "Exchange" into Aqua Mail won't work, Aqua uses EWS (Exchange Web Services) and not ActiveSync.

IMAP should work.

Network related error messages in Aqua Mail are "geniune", it reports what happens, doesn't make them up.

Please try using Manual button (after entering your email and password) and check server name, encryption type, and port # to make sure they're correct for your server.

Maybe the server has IMAP / SMTP disabled, too?

I'm sorry for delayed response, thanx for the advice.
I will contact the owner of the mail server later this week, om which services [IMAP/SMTP/etc] he has enabled.

If I resolve this issue I'll get backt to you
