will aqua mail do everything my Samsung stock mail did. specifically for exchang

I want to switch from the stock Samsung mail app. Primarily because it messes up when I'm editing messages.
I tried blue mail but that doesn't seem to work with my calander and contacts lists.
Question is does aqua mail?
I'll happily buy the pro version if I can do everything I could do with the stock email. I need the full exchange functionality because my phone is primarily a work tool to manage my corporate account.

Right now it falls short in some ways but may do more in some others (but then no two apps can ever be the same).

- Exchange Contacts:

Available in the app's own contact picker, to bring it up, use the picking button(s) next to each recipient entry field (on the compose screen).

This will show your personal address book (with search) and provide access to the GAL (Global Address List, corporate directory) with search.

Contacts will not, however, sync with Android's Contacts. This may change but right now that's how it is.

- Calendar

Right now you can see invites in incoming messages, and when you reply (decline / accept), the resulting "event" will be saved on your Exchange server, and will be visible in your Exchange web mail / Outlook / etc.

This will change soon, I'm working on proper Calendar sync right now, and it's nearing completion:

Events pre-existing on the server will sync to the device's Calendar... you'll be able to create / delete / reply from Google's Calendar app and third party calendar apps... third party calendar widgets too I guess...

In other words, Aqua will *sync* your Outlook / server calendar with the Android device.

Following up on this thread. Currently, AquaMail replaces all the built in Exchange features on my phone except for contacts in the Contacts list with phone number and other related details. (Also missing Push, but that is not critical for me). Do you have any plans on full Contacts integration?

Contact sync -- not in the near / mid-term, once I release 1.5.7, the next "step" is conversation / threading and it's a large task.

I should note though that 1.5.7 has much nicer contact entry for Exchange accounts -- they auto-complete right in the recipient entry fields now, no need to bring up the app's "Built-in Contact Picker" as a separate window.
