The first screenshot (what you call "working") actually failed completely - and the message was simply zoomed out, as a whole.
Now:
"Fitting" messages to a smaller width is not something that can "magically" work every time.
We tweak our auto-fitting code from time to time based on sample messages we receive. But still there is no magic.
Auto-fitting a message (if it "doesn't want to cooperate") involves adjusting its "intended" (and too wide) layout. Those adjustments can sometimes make something look worse, it's true.
Ideally, in 2017, messages should be able to "resize itself" by using "CSS Media Queries". Many do. Many don't.
That being said, I'm concerned about the "junk" along the left edge of your "new" screenshot - what looks like stock ticker symbols, green and red.
And so please please please do send us a sample as I asked above.
No sample - nothing will happen for sure.
