pop3 incoming server error started 2 weeks ago
« on: February 19, 2015, 11:51:55 pm »
About two weeks ago I started to get intermittent incoming server errors.  Now it seems to have picked up and today alone I have had over 2 dozen errors.  As soon as I try to manually sync it goes through without any issues.

I have contacted the provider and they have no issues on their end.

Very frustrated with the notifications of incoming server errors when it works when I tell it to manually check.  What is going on!?

If you meant "connect errors", those are genuine, only *reported* by Aqua.

It's always nice to hear that someone "checked everything on their end and everything is fine".

You also need to remember that there is a whole bunch of "stuff" between your Android device and the mail server -- such as the mobile operator's or the WiFi ISP's network.

Oh, and my answers above are of course "generic" - "best guess" - since you haven't provided anything specific that I could go on...
