No recovery from onedrive

Hi,

I did make a Backup over onevdrive

On my resetted Samsung S7 I do find the Backup in Onedrive and over the restore function.
Did select the file, enter password, then an error appears

1e00006:Cipher funcrions:openssl_internatBad Decrypt  Password correct?

YES for 100% did put it in several times .....

What to do.

I would copy the backup directlcy to the Samsung, but there is no option (which would be fine too )

You could try to download the backup file to your device directly with your OneDrive app.

Hey guys. I had a restore problem from One Drive for the first time. It appears I tried to restore from OD without having logged into OD before having looked for the backup file. Even after a full android restore from default, I cannot get Aqua Mail to go back to OD for the backup file. I get a crazy error message so I download it to my local storage from OD then back up from the local file. What do you think has happened to my ability to grab the file from OD? Thanks!

Does OneDrive come up at all when you tap Copy from in Aqua Mail?

If not you may want to reboot the device and try again.

Or you could "save" / "download" the file in One Drive and then:

- Either move it to /backup/AquaMail (two directories) for Aqua's backup and restore to see it

- Or choose the /Downloads folders on Aqua's backup and restore screen.

Hi! I actually restored the phone (Galaxy S8+) to factory default. I keep getting the same error message when I tap copy. It is a long message that I cannot see long enough to quote back to you. I never had any issue until the time when I went to go to One Drive to copy the file and I had not yet logged into One Drive. So rebooting will not help. I have done that a bunch of times and even did a full restore. I can get the file by downloading it from One Drive; I thought this is a possible bug.

Yes please do and then one of the two further options I posted above to restore from this - by then local - file.

It is Reproduced on one of my Galaxy S devices.

One Drive 5.0 released November 2, and we never knew, but they broke the particular way that Aqua uses to pick files.

We'll have to look for some other way to let the user pick the backup file from his/her OneDrive app.

FYI:

We fixed this, in an internal build / version so far.

We are *not* going to post this on the forum or release to Play just yet - to avoid confusion, since we're still in the middle of rolling out the "stable" 1.12.

If there are more complaints we'll re-evaluate.

The fix will be also present in the next big update (1.13) starting with -dev builds (when they actually start).
