toggling Two-panel UI permanently changes font size

When activating Look and Feel -> Two-panel UI the font size is automatically decreased to fit two panels.

When deactivating (so returning to one panel UI) the original font size does *not* restore, but stays small.

Yes it's a one time adjustment, thought it would be a good idea on phone sized screen. Please adjust the size back using the volume buttons.
