IMAP network error - GMAIL account
« on: March 06, 2015, 12:10:46 am »
I have one gmail account and I am trying to add it and I am getting
Account check error

incoming mail server (imap): Network error

Please make sure the data is correct.

My other gmail account works, I have imap forwarding enabled on both accounts, the account was working , all of a sudden I realized I wasn't getting new emails regularly, like only on my home wifi, etc

on a side note which isn't important I NOTICED THE LITTLE IMAP PUSH @ MISSING

ANY IDEAS ON WHY MY MAIN GMAIL ACCOUNT NO LONGER CONNECTS. ITS MY ACCOUNT NOT YOUR APP, I TRIED OTHER APPS AND IT DOESN;T WORK. IT ONLY WORKS ON THE GMAIL native android app

Thanks in advance

If I understood you correctly and it doesn't work in other mail apps -- that's a sign of something wrong on Google's end, and specific to the account (since the other one works).

Please capture the issue in the app's debug log and I'll take a look (see link just below in my signature).

Google has been experiencing outages today for several services - Drive, Play and others, including Gmail.  Very likely that this is a temporary Google issue.
