Dear Friends,
I purchased aqua-mail Pro version.
but, I am facing a problem that it is not refreshing automatically to check for emails at regular interval say 3min/ 5min.
Even I tried to go for custom time interval, but, I have to refresh manually to check if new emails have come!!!!!
Can someone help with snapshots.

You have not provided much detail about your phone/Android.
What are your
1) Android version (and ROM if non-standard)
2) Phone model
3) Do you have any 3rd-party battery optimizers installed?

Android, starting with Marshmallow (6.0) has a doze mode that prevents apps from running in the background. You need to add Aquamail to the "exception" ("white") list.

Some phones and proprietary environments (Samsung, Huawei/MIUI, ...?) have their own battery optimizers that prevent apps from running in the background. You need to add Aquamail to the "white list" for those.

PS. For Kostya: I think it's time to add this type of description to the FAQ. (I had thought it was already there, but I couldn't find it.)
If you've installed any 3rd-party battery optimizers, you need to do the same as described above.

And just in case: have you checked if you accidentally disabled settings for messages syncing?

Android 6.0

As I've written above,
Android, starting with Marshmallow (6.0) has a doze mode that prevents apps from running in the background. You need to add Aquamail to the "exception" ("white") list.
Have you added Aquamail to the "whitelist" of the Doze mode?

Lenovo may also have a "battery optimizer" built-in, same as Huawei does for example, or MIUI.

It's best to check with their support -- is there something in this phone which tries to optimize the battery by restricting apps in the background?

I don't happen to own any Lenovo's sorry.

Re: Doze mode

This is also a "battery optimizer" but built into Android itself.

AquaMail should have prompted you to "whitelist" it there, but please check app settings -> mail, receiving.

If not already done, there will be a panel / button near the top there, prompting you to "tap to exclude from Doze Mode" (please do that).
