How do I get the action bar back??

Folks,

Well, [many expletives deleted], after my Galaxy Alpha phone's battery life went down the toilet after the forced [many more expletives deleted] update to Android 5.0.2 (first update to Lollipop), I decided to do a factory reset.  And gosh, am I having problems now!  Widgets disappear, and on and on and on.

At any rate, with AquaMail (Pro), I have lost what I understand is the "action bar" at the bottom of the message list.  If I set the Look and Feel to Two-panel UI, then it will show, but that is just AWFUL on my puny little phone screen.  But, with just a single, typical message list view, it's just absolutely non-existent.  And I sure can't find any setting anywhere that turns it on or off.  And man, without that, I may has well ask for my money back and get another e-mail program, because I need that to "select all and delete" whole bunches of messages.  Without that, I might as well toss my phone out into the street and drive over it with my car several thousand times.

So, can anyone help?  I just can't live without my action bar!!

In single panel mode, you will just need to switch off AquaMail settings -> look and feel -> floating action button (that round thing).

But, thanks to the design wizards at Google, on Android 5.0+, you will have to switch the app's visual "theme" to one of the old ones (light or dark) before you can turn off this "floating action button" setting. That's on the same screen, AquaMail settings -> look and feel.

So two things:

AquaMail settings -> look and feel

1 - Change theme to "Light"

2 - And then turn off "floating action button"

Thanks very much for your help, and for your very quick reply!

I had seen something about that floating button while I was doing some web searching, but I didn't even find the grayed-out option to turn it off.  And, of course, I much prefer the old "dark" theme (with light messages), so that's the very first setting I changed after I did a factory reset to my phone.

So, thanks again for the help -- I was able to quickly get my treasured action bar back.   

Finally, let me take this opportunity to thank you many times over for your work with AquaMail -- I prefer it to everything else I have ever tried by a VAST margin.  I truly would be lost without it.  So, let me thank you again for a job very well done, all around!
