This used to work, but it looks like recent updates have broken this function. Aqua Mail used to display the total number of downloaded messages in a local folder; when I hid the messages in the app, the messages would no longer be in the local folder and the number would show as 0. Now it displays the total number of read messages in the server folder, so that when I hide the messages in the app, the only messages that are actually hidden are the downloaded new or unread ones; the number still reflects the server folder read message counts. Why was this changed, and can it be changed back to the way it was? I want the app to show the number of downloaded messages the way it used to.
