I've reported this before (quite a while back - a year and a half ago to be exact) and someone said they would check it out, but the issue remains. For many website emails dark mode makes some text unreadable in AquaMail, but those same emails render perfectly in every single other email app I've tried. Something is terribly wrong with the way AquaMail handles a lot of color inversions and nobody seems to care.
These screenshots are just one example of an email from the New Yorker Magazine today. First in AquaMail in dark mode showing unreadable text, then the same email in AquaMail in light mode showing the missing text now readable. Then there are screenshots of the same email correctly rendered in dark mode in Outlook, GMail, Edison EMail, and Fairemail.
You see this can be done. Why not in AquaMail?
