I'm sure I'm not the only Pro user that has an issue where the licence server does not recognize their account.

Similar issue:

I convinced a friend to try AquaMail. Now He wants to purchase the Pro Key in play store. But "not available" for his device (Android 13).

Pro Key has still target API 27.

On website of AquaMail it's not possible to tap to purchase the lifetime pro key.

What's wrong?

Hi Justin,

Sorry for the late reply. The unlocker is discontinued, only people who bought it in the past have access to it.
There will be more info on that later.

Hi Martin,

this is bad news.

So where to perform a one-time-purchase?

When you only accept time-based subscriptions, you won't get new users. Most users avoid subscriptions.

People will use other mail apps.

Hi, 10 days are gone. Any news?

For your information:
In biggest german speaking Android forum there is a subforum for AquaMail. Used for discussions and support.

This is the current discussion about your monetarization strategy:
https://www.android-hilfe.de/forum/aqua-mail.2241/hat-aqua-mail-sowohl-eine-pro-version-als-auch-ein-abo-modell.1051371.html

Nobody is willing to pay an expensive subscription.

And unfortunately the subforum for AquaMail is going to die. Reason: Your strategy.

This is why everyone I know who is using Aqua Mail has moved to Fairemail.

I found AquaMail a great mail app.
I was ready to purchase a life time license and... booom! Just discovered no more lifetime license.

Well, you're right.
more then €30/year, no.
