Is push still broken with office365 / exchange?

For quite some time I was on 1.36.0-147 because it was the only recent version I was getting push notifications on my work office 365 account.

I accidentally just updated from the play store and lo and behold push notifications are not working.   I set my account up again but no dice.

Was this ever fixed or am I missing something else?

I just came across the faq saying push has been fixed and followed the steps outlined, and it still doesn't work for me
